Summer is shaping up to be a busy season! In addition to working full time for KMBC this summer, I had the opportunity to visit some friends near Atlanta, GA.

Bob and Mary Mulloy are missionaries with Literacy and Evangelism International. As the name suggests, they work in literacy and evangelism, primarily with refugees settled in Clarkston, GA - "The most ethnically diverse square mile in America." I enjoyed shadowing Mary for a few days. While there I was blessed to visit with families from Uganda, Myanmar, South Sudan, and Honduras.

Esther and her family are refugees from South Sudan. Mary asked me to help write their stories. We visited for several hours and listened as Esther, Doreen, and Susan shared their experiences of life in South Sudan, the refugee camp in Kenya, and now in America. I'm looking forward to sharing their stories with you when they're complete!

I took the slightly longer route home to Kentucky by swinging over through northeast Georgia to visit some friends and then up through South Carolina, somehow the only southern state I'd never visited. I enjoyed a delicious white chocolate mocha and a beautiful mountain lake view before moving on. There is a good bit more wandering in the calendar this summer as I'll be traveling with two of KMBC's PR trios in July and August. Ten points if you can guess which new northern state I'll be scratching off my travel map!
The work I do at KMBC - and on exciting side trips like this one - is support raised. If you would like to partner with me, click here. This will take you to KMBC's giving page where you can select "personnel support" as the category and type "Angelica Bradley" in the comment box. Thank you for your prayers and support! I couldn't do it without you. Seriously.
